Dubstep and bass labels accepting demos
There are 108 dubstep and bass labels here, 21 of them written up in full. The word covers two scenes that barely share a mailing list, and sending both the same track with the same email wastes one of them. DEEP MEDi Musik has been putting out heavyweight sound-system dubstep at 140 since Mala started it in London in 2006, and Chestplate has run at a deliberately slow pace out of Distance's own records since 2007, which is a long way from the American festival end of the same catalog. It is also worth reading before you assume a famous name is still an operating A&R shop: Owsla went dormant in 2020 without announcing it, and the entry below says so plainly.
What this page is, and what it is not
It is a scene page. The 21 paragraphs below exist to tell two scenes apart that share one heading: Artikal Music UK has been putting out sound-system dubstep since 2012 on a remit its founder frames as vibe over tempo, while Big Beat was bought by Atlantic in 1992 and the American club end has had major-label money in it ever since. The other 87 names are genre-tagged in the directory with the write-up still to come.
It is not a list of open inboxes. It is not even a list of one door per name: House Call runs a monthly radio show built explicitly from unreleased tracks and listener demos, which is a different route into the same operation from its label. Whether any of these is reading this month is not printed here, because it changes without notice and a scraped address captures one day at best.
The routes live in the app rather than on this page. Sessions holds the current known route next to somewhere to write down what you find out yourself, because research is the only thing that answers "are they open right now".
How to read this list
- Alphabetical, not ranked. No scoring and no top ten. A label pressing heavyweight 140 for one sound system is not competing with a festival imprint, and putting them in one order is not a comparison.
- The line under each name is the catalog's own genre tagging, and in bass music that usually means tempo: 9 of the 21 written-up labels name a sub-genre, and the difference between deep dubstep at 140, halftime at 170 and UK bass decides which track you send and which email you write.
- Labels and outlets are kept apart. The short section further down holds 3 radio stations among its 7 entries, which matters here because a radio play is often the first real yes in this genre and it wants a different message from a demo.
- Some of these charge to consider a demo. The flag is inside the app on the free tier, and it stays attached to the name wherever you find it again. This page does not say which, and it names no fees.
21 dubstep and bass labels, with their history
1985 Music
1985 Music is the label and clothing imprint launched in May 2016 by Belgian-born, UK-based producer Alix Perez, who described it at launch as 'a platform rooted primarily in the 85 / 170 BPM bracket but also going beyond with no rules applied' and as a bid for 'complete creative control of music, design and overall feel.' The first release was Perez's own four-track Elephant Dreams EP in June 2016. Based in London, it has become one of the central homes for halftime and 170 experimentalism, and its own Bandcamp still frames the remit as 'forward thinking electronic music basing it's roots in 170 / 85 BPM and beyond.' It marked ten years in July 2026 with the 20-track X Years VA compilation.
3000 Bass
3000 Bass began as a SoundCloud channel showcasing UK bass and grew into one of the genre's main editorial platforms before becoming a label, events brand and artist agency under the umbrella it now calls The 3000 Network. Its own About page says it was 'one of the original homes of artists such as Skepsis, Holy Goof and distinkt' (championed on the platform, which is not the same as signed to the label). A Soundplate interview catches them roughly two years into running 3000 Bass events, having passed 50,000 SoundCloud followers in ten months, with the stated ambition 'Record label, artist agency, more events, world domination!'; Discogs dates their first catalogued release to 2015. The brand later added the sister imprint 3000 Deep for deep and tech house. No official page states a founding year or city, so the origin date could not be established beyond 'releasing by 2015'.
877 Records
877 Records is an independent Brighton-based bass label whose own Discogs profile reads '877 is an independant record label based in the UK, where we work with artists from around the world. We focus on House, Bass and Garage, but no genre is ruled out'; its Bandcamp shortens that to 'Underground Bass Music.' Its catalogue runs from at least early 2015 through 2023, roughly 55 releases spanning UK garage, bass music and breaks. Output appears to have stopped after mid-2023.
Artikal Music UK
Artikal Music UK is a British label founded in 2012 as J:Kenzo's own imprint for deep, sound-system-focused dubstep, run with Mosaix. It built its reputation across the mid-2010s on releases from TMSV, Thelem, Piezo, Causa and Compa and on 'Artikal: The Compilation', with J:Kenzo framing the remit as vibe over tempo rather than a fixed BPM. It describes itself as pushing sound system music on vinyl and digital, and remains one of the steadier homes for 140 and deep dubstep. The catalogue passed ARTKL089 in mid-2026.
Astralwerks
Astralwerks was launched in July 1993 by Brian Long as the electronic and dance imprint of Caroline Records in New York, and spent the 1990s as the American home of the British and French electronic breakthrough: The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, The Future Sound of London, Basement Jaxx and Air all came through it. Ownership followed the majors, ending up with Universal Music Group in 2012 and now operating under Capitol Music Group, which also handles US distribution. The label relocated from New York to Los Angeles in 2018 as part of a relaunch, and its current roster leans into contemporary club and crossover dance: SG Lewis, Duke Dumont, HUGEL, CID, Jazzy, Joy Anonymous, Aaron Hibell and UK garage and bass producer Sammy Virji. It has also run side ventures including the Bluewerks series with Blue Note from 2021 and a 2023 distribution partnership with SIZE Records.
ATW Records
ATW, short for All The Wicked, is a UK label run by Manchester producer Interplanetary Criminal and Copenhagen born Main Phase, two of the central figures in the current UK garage, speed garage and bassline revival. The catalogue runs from ATW001, which appeared on Interplanetary Criminal's own Bandcamp, through to ATW044 in 2026, mixing the founders' own tracks with EPs and various artists compilations curated to document where the sound is going. Beyond records it operates as a party and radio brand, with label showcases, a Rinse FM presents series and a Balamii residency, and it toured internationally including Miami Music Week in 2026. A documentary called All The Wicked, directed by Finn James, followed the label's first tour.
Aus Music
Aus Music was founded in 2006 in London by producer and DJ Will Saul together with Ninja Tune artist Fink, as a more experimental and leftfield counterpart to Saul's earlier Simple Records. It explores the outer edges of house, techno, electro and dub, and is credited with early releases from Bicep, George FitzGerald and Dusky. The label passed its 200th release in 2024 and is part of the !K7 Label Group.
Big Beat Records
Big Beat was started in New York in 1986 by Craig Kallman, then 20 years old, running an independent house and hip-hop label out of his bedroom. Early sellers such as Kraze's 'The Party' drew the attention of Atlantic Records, which bought the label in 1992 and made Kallman a VP of A&R (he later became Atlantic's chairman and CEO). By 1998 the roster had been absorbed into Atlantic and the imprint went quiet, and a 2001 attempt to restart it was abandoned. Atlantic relaunched Big Beat in 2010 as a dance and electronic imprint, breaking Wynter Gordon's 'Dirty Talk' and Martin Solveig's 'Hello' and then releasing Skrillex's Grammy-winning 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'. It operates today as the electronic arm of Atlantic Records Group inside Warner Music Group.
Black Acre
Black Acre was founded in 2007 in Bristol, co-founded by Ian Merchant, and describes its own remit as discovery rather than a genre: it came up amid the dubstep and bass explosion but never anchored itself there. Over nearly two decades it has released Commodo, Sully, Karen Nyame KG, N-Type, DJ Hatcha, Raffertie, Clap! Clap!, Kwes Darko, Connie Constance, Rocks FOE and Waldo's Gift. The wider company also does artist management, publishing, music supervision and licensing, with offices in Bristol and London and Lilian Lyzander as label manager. The label went through a hiatus and formally returned in April 2025, announcing Bristol electronic-rock act Scaler as its first new signing and a distribution deal with Believe. It has been releasing steadily since.
Chestplate
Chestplate Recordings was founded in August 2007 in London by Distance (Greg Sanders), one of dubstep's originators and a Mary Anne Hobbs 'Dubstep Warz' alumnus, initially just as an outlet for his own records. The first release was Distance & Skream's 'Political Warfare / Radical', and the label's identity has stayed close to Distance's own: dark, distorted, metal-inflected dubstep with a deliberately slow release rate. It has released material from Skream, Benga, Caspa & Rusko, Cyrus and Tunnidge over the years, and it is still running today.
CNCPT Collective
CNCPT Collective is a Bristol bass-music collective that runs club sessions across the city and a record label alongside a clothing line and an agency; its own SoundCloud copy calls it 'Bristol Bass-weight providers. Good vibrations & Unity.' It has been putting on nights since around 2015 including a CNCPT x Sub.Mission series at Trinity and The Black Swan. The label catalogue runs CNCPT001 to CNCPT013 plus a 'Collective Album' compilation, covering dubstep, 140, grime, UK garage and bassline, and the roster is drawn almost entirely from the Bristol scene rather than signed from outside.
Confession
Tchami (Martin Bresso), the French producer credited with coining 'future house', launched Confession in November 2015 to give the sound he had named a home and to develop artists around it: the debut release was Quebec producer ANGELZ's 'Hey Girl' on 18 November 2015, with Malaa's 'Notorious' second. Run from Tchami's Paris base and entangled with the Pardon My French crew (Tchami, DJ Snake, Malaa, Mercer), it grew from one-off singles into EPs, the Discothèque Records compilation series and label parties and tours worldwide, including a Confession tour of North America in late 2018. In January 2022 it teamed with AC Slater's Night Bass for the joint 'Confession X Night Bass: The Album'. Tchami has said outsiders assume Confession has one fixed sound, which is the opposite of his intent. The catalogue bears him out, drifting from future house into bass house and, lately, tech house.
DEEP MEDi Musik
DEEP MEDi Musik was founded in London in 2006 by Mala of Digital Mystikz, two years after he co-founded DMZ with Coki and Loefah, and it grew out of the Croydon scene that formed around Big Apple Records. Its house sound is heavyweight, spacious, sound-system dubstep at 140, summed up in the label's own line 'Releasing Sound System Musik since 2006', and it has held that centre while widening into grime, techno, funk and jazz-inflected bass music across more than 130 releases. Silkie is its most prolific artist, and the catalogue has carried work from Goth-Trad, Commodo, Kahn, Gantz and Sir Spyro among others. The label switched to its black-and-white fractal sleeve identity after its hundredth release.
Dirtybird
Dirtybird was started in January 2005 in San Francisco by Barclay Crenshaw, better known as Claude VonStroke. The idea came out of making 'Intellect', his 2002 documentary on house and techno producers: he needed original music for the soundtrack and ended up with a label instead. It grew out of the free Dirtybird BBQ parties he began throwing in Golden Gate Park in 2003, and its sound is the one VonStroke himself named 'tech funk': bass-heavy, deliberately funny, West Coast house that has almost nothing to do with European minimalism. It launched Dirtybird Campout in 2015 for its tenth birthday and won Underground Label of the Year at the IDMAs in 2014 and 2015. Two turns matter: on 20 October 2022 EMPIRE bought the entire brand, back catalogue and all future releases (everything except the live events), with Moody Jones installed as president and VonStroke staying on to A&R; then in early 2026 VonStroke launched a separate label of his own, Wrong Number Records.
Future House Music
Future House Music began in Rotterdam in 2014 as a YouTube channel run by Aart van den Dool and Gino van Eijk, who, watching Oliver Heldens and Tchami put the genre on the map, grabbed the name and used the channel to bundle the sound in one place, taking what van Eijk calls the first-mover advantage; Beatportal traces it further back, to 'a passionate Facebook community for house music enthusiasts'. The record label proper was formed in 2016, and the brand widened from there into merch, wallpapers, a Discord, and live events in more than 20 countries. It is unusual in being a community-and-media operation as much as a label: the YouTube channel passed a million subscribers within about four years, the catalogue is past 600 releases (now at FHM440), and demo feedback, remix competitions and Q&As happen in its Discord. Beatportal made it Hype Label of the Month in February 2025; its stated mission is supporting new talent and putting artists first, which makes it one of the more genuinely open doors in the book.
House Call
House Call Records is the Los Angeles label of Dr. Fresch (Tony Fresch), built around his House Call brand and its 'Caller ID' radio show, which airs monthly on Insomniac Radio and is explicitly built from unreleased tracks and listener demos. Its own SoundCloud sums the structure up as @housecallrecs, by @drfresch, with @housecallradio monthly on Insomniac Radio. The sound is bass house, G-house and tech house rather than anything deep. The first catalogue release was Dr. Fresch and Marten Hörger's 'Take A Step Back', followed by UK artist Zero's 'Extrovert' as his first American release. The label has run Caller ID compilations, Operators and Call Backs volumes, and continues to release.
NightBass
AC Slater (Aaron Clevenger) started Night Bass in January 2014 as a monthly Los Angeles club night, built because LA had no middle ground between festival EDM and purist house for the UK-leaning sounds he loved: garage, bassline, grime, bass house; the record label followed roughly a year later (its own Bandcamp says 'established in 2014', while press dates the label proper to mid-2015). It hardened into the definitive American bass-house institution: an early US/UK interchange booking DJ Q, Taiki Nulight and Jack Beats, 800-plus tracks released by late 2023, a ten-year anniversary in 2024, and a Night Bass Energy podcast plus a touring event brand. In January 2022 it ran a joint compilation with Tchami's Confession, pairing both rosters. The business turn that matters: on 16 June 2023 AC Slater moved the label into a joint venture with Create Music Group, which now supplies its distribution and marketing muscle.
No, She Doesn't
No, She Doesn't is a record label and collective based in Lisbon, Portugal. It publishes no history. Its official bio on both Bandcamp and SoundCloud is a values statement rather than a story: 'NO SHE DOESN'T is not just a label but also a movement: an open minded way of approaching life has led us to put values such as equality, freedom and fun as priorities. We try to express it in our tunes and parties and in the feelings they provide us...' The catalogue is small, vinyl-led and built largely around DJ Spielberg, running NSD001 (2018) to NSD007 (June 2025), the last of which moved into breakbeat and jungle territory. Could NOT verify a founder, a founding date beyond the first release in 2018, or a party series beyond the bio's own mention.
Noir Sur Blanc
Noir Sur Blanc is a genuine independent French label (its own SoundCloud bio states 'independent french music record label'), created in February 2017 by KOOS and Théo Knock, with a stated mission of pushing house music through rising artists and a signature visual gimmick where every cover is hand-written by the track's own author in black on white, which is where the name comes from. Its output is bass-house-centred, largely gathered into the recurring 'Blanc Sur Noir' various-artists compilations (Vol. 4 dated 19 February 2021), and it carries real distribution presence on Beatport and Traxsource, with 30.8K SoundCloud followers. The dormant verdict on file looks correct: as of mid-2026 its own SoundCloud had posted no new release in about two years, though the account still reposted occasionally. The city could not be settled: 2018 press names only 'France', and directory sources disagree between Paris and Lille.

An independent electronic label and release channel that signs across a wide span of electronic styles and is known for its compilation series.
Owsla
Skrillex (Sonny Moore) announced Owsla on 17 August 2011 in Los Angeles, co-founded with Tim Smith, Kathryn Frazier and Clayton Blaha and named after the rabbit military caste in Richard Adams' Watership Down; the first release was Porter Robinson's 'Spitfire', and through the 2010s it was the defining American bass-music imprint, spinning off the Nest HQ blog, The Nest subscription service, the Owsla Goods merch line and a US partnership with Bromance. It went dormant in 2020 with no announcement (the newest item in its own site's release feed is Salvatore Ganacci's Boycycle EP, stamped 'RELEASE: Feb 14, 2020'), and the Nest HQ archive was wiped in 2024 (YouTube channel first, then every SoundCloud upload), which fans treated as a media-preservation scandal. The name has kept appearing since only as an imprint credit on Skrillex's own Atlantic releases (Quest for Fire and Don't Get Too Close, 2023; the FUS album and the Hit Me Where It Hurts X EP, 2025), so it functions as a badge rather than an operating A&R shop. In December 2024 Skrillex teased a revival by posting the Owsla logo and tagging the label's defunct Instagram as his ~15-year Atlantic deal wound down; treat the revival as unconfirmed.

Not labels: 7 dubstep and bass radio shows, blogs and channels
These do not sign records. They play them, write about them or premiere them, which is a different pitch with a different message, and sending one an imprint-style demo email is a wasted send. They are here because a show or a blog is often the more realistic first yes, and the app marks every one of them as an outlet rather than a label for the same reason.
Berlin Bass Collective
Berlin Bass Collective was started in Berlin in 2016 by Matt Kus, first as a party promoter and then as a record label. Its opening event, Disco Kiez, was an all-vinyl disco party at Loophole on 20 August 2016 that drew over 150 people, and the imprint followed in 2017 with Sound of Berlin Bass Collective Vol 1 on 28 July 2017. It ran as a genuine collective of DJs, producers, visual artists and volunteers across several countries rather than as a conventional label, releasing house, deep house and disco under BBC catalogue numbers, and its stated ethos was to spread positivity through music. Kus has said he signs tracks based on the emotions they make him feel rather than on who the artist is. Output stopped after 2022 and the label has been quiet since.
Boiler RoomPremiere channel
Boiler Room was founded in London in 2010 as 'weekly live broadcasts that opened a keyhole to London's underground,' and has since become the dominant global platform for filmed club sets, featuring over 9,000 artists across more than 300 locations. Its About page frames it as 'a stage' and 'lens on global club culture' with free-to-access content. Since June 2020 it has operated a firm pay policy: 'Boiler Room pays all artists for all broadcasted performances, full stop.'
Foundation FMRadio
Foundation FM is a London online radio station that broadcasts daily ('ON AIR 10-10') and is known as a female-led, community-driven platform for underrepresented voices in UK music. Its site runs sections for shows, residents, records and events. Founding details, founders and precise location are not stated on any page reachable from its own site.
HKCRRadio
HKCR describes itself on its own site as 'a community platform and independent radio station comprised of creators, musicians, artists and fans with aims to broadcast and support independent works as an open platform,' trading as Hong Kong Collective Resonance. It broadcasts 24/7 with new shows daily, focused on underground electronic music from Hong Kong, Asia and worldwide. Reporting attributes its 2016 founding to Gavin Wong of Absurd Trax and Davy Law of Neoncity Records (via search snippet, unverified: the founding year and founders are not stated on the site itself).
Magnetic Magazine
US electronic music publication based in Beverly Hills, California, covering news, features, reviews, gear and dance music culture, and running its own imprint (Magnetic Magazine Recordings). Notably it staffs dedicated genre editors including a House Music Editor and a Disco Editor, which makes targeted pitching realistic.
Rinse FMRadio
Rinse FM was started in September 1994 by DJ Geeneus and Slimzee in Tower Hamlets, London, and ran unlicensed for sixteen years to become London's biggest pirate radio station, foundational to jungle, UK garage, grime and dubstep. Ofcom awarded it a community radio licence in June 2010 and it began legal broadcast on 106.8 FM on 7 February 2011. It now runs multiple channels: Rinse UK, Rinse France (2014), Kool FM (2023) and SWU FM (2023), plus the Rinse Recordings label.
XLR8RMagazine
Veteran electronic music and culture publication, originally a US print magazine and now digital, publishing news, features, premieres, mixes and artist content under the tagline 'Accelerating Music and Culture'. It operates a paid membership tier, XLR8R+, bundling music, features and artist content such as sample packs and project files.
Where the routes and the tracking live
Saltado Sessions is a desktop app for producers. It scans every project on your drives into one searchable library, and it carries this whole catalog, more than 1,200 labels and outlets, as a directory you can filter by genre next to the track you are about to send.
The directory is free. Searchable, genre-tagged, the histories, the outlets kept visibly apart from the labels, and the pay-to-play warnings, with no cap and no trial clock. A warning is worth nothing to the person who has already paid, which is why that flag is not the paid part.
Known demo routes are part of Pro, a $44 one-time purchase that is never a subscription, together with submission tracking Pro: you pick a label and hit send once, the app opens that label's route and logs the send in the same click, and the history then lives on the track itself with dates, replies, and an amber flag when a send has sat unanswered for 30 days. A route you dig up yourself is yours on any tier, and so is every note you write about a label.
It runs on your machine and only your machine. There is no account, nothing about your library leaves the computer, and the catalog is a local database that you own.
